Emma and Oliver are from California and Vermont respectively, so they planned a full weekend for all of their family and friends who were coming from out of town. Their wedding day started with a grill out, and then getting ready together in the afternoon, a few photos before a beautiful ceremony. The reception kicked off with what felt like an intimate dinner party with guests seated at long tables and food passed around family style. The party was one of the most exciting and fun parties I’ve ever seen with both bride and groom crowd surfing, and the evening ending with an after party!

Weddings are, in an obvious way, about the love between two people. But there is another type of love that is so present at weddings. Traveling across the country, cheering and clapping at all the exciting moments, listening closely to toasts and giving full attention to first dances. Tossing back a few drinks, spending all night on the dance floor, and doing it all so that the main couple can have the wedding of their dreams and stories to tell for years to come, that is just as great an outpouring of love.
